Welcome to Bloom!
Through my degree program in early childhood education, my experience working in many different preschool and childcare programs through the years, in addition to parenting my own two children, I have found that simply observing a child play can guide adults far more than any book ever written.
By watching, we can peek into this little person’s world and gain so much insight.
By watching, we can see the way a child feels, the way they interact with tools offered, the way they utilize their previous information and builds new ideas.
I am drawn to the Reggio Emilia approach to early childhood education as it honors every part of a child’s natural curiosity and their world of play. It lets a child be the leader and guide to what the subject will be….and as a teacher, I am offered the opportunity to foster that wonder and help guide children through deeper questioning and the cycles of learning and understanding of our world.
